If that ‘special piece’ still hasn’t caught your eye it’s time to investigate the second hand shops and antique stores. Then again. if you’re short on time, this may be where you begin your search…

Let’s assume you’ve spotted your ‘piece’ and you want to know if it’s worth the effort. When Joshua and I find something our first consideration is “Do we like the look?” Are the lines and proportions pleasing to the eye? Is it functional? How many different uses can we come up with?

If you’ve been to JoJo’s Place you will know that we often have quirky items that seem to serve no purpose; but they made us smile and we both just ‘liked’ it. Hence the ‘gong’ upstairs. Naturally you will also be considering whether it fits the place, need and style of your home.
